Our story

Cayer Security was founded in 1997 by Bob and Cindy Cayer in Fairfield, Maine — and it's still family-owned and operated today. For nearly 30 years we've designed, installed, and maintained security systems for Maine's banks, credit unions, and businesses — from the largest multi-branch institutions to Main Street storefronts.
Our mission is to protect what matters most — the people, property, and peace of mind of every customer we serve. We deliver that through superior customer service, quality workmanship, and honest pricing, guided every day by our P.R.A.I.S.E. core values.
